Hair Raising ZOMBIES!!! Beach of the Dead 2010

Shave shave shave, its not unknown that I love shaved hair :) Recently took mine to a number 1, which I loved but had already grown out a little so I decided to have this 'hair graffiti' done in a local barbers, just walked past one day and thought, ooooh that looks pretty....

The awesome lady that did it usually does all those tribal patterns that boys have done, but although some she did was amazing, not really my style so I had this simple design done for £3!! BARGAIN!

Deffo have another done when it grows out, thinking some spiders hehe :) could even dye in some of the designs :)

On another note, I can now attend the MCM October Expo :) which is very exciting as its the weekend after Beach of the Dead :) = two weekends of dressing up in awesome costumes!!

I don't know if I've posted about Beach of The Dead before, which is strange seeing as it's one of the most exciting events of my year!!!

Basically it is an organised zombie parade flash mob which more than 1000 people take part in each year in Brighton in which the town centre from Train station to beach is whipped into a mayhem by role playing zombies of all ages and styles!!!

This will be my third year :) and have a special costume planned :)
Here's some pics of me from last year and the mayhem!

Is it suuuuuuuuuuch SUCH a fun event, everyone has a laugh and there are some truly original/hilarious/amazing and HORRIFIC costumes :)

And as you know I also dress up for MCM :) so this means I have two costumes create for my October exploits and I cant wait!!

For MCM I am going to become one of the Marvel worlds greatest sorcerers (prize to any fellow geek who knows who I am going to be ;) )
And for Beach of the Dead I am going to be a blood spewing, gut crawling zombie-fied version of a certain cute healthy eating character on children's TV ;)

Maybe I'll give you a few sneak peaks as the costumes come under way.....

i'M DANCING.

A sneaky peek into my life.
(And a test to see if my gif works hahah!)

Outfit from saturday, new camera :)

Pink dress- H&M
Black dress- Miss selfridges
Socks- Primark
Boots- Dr martens

Been to Bognor Regis for the day today, won 5 keyrings in the arcades (penny falls OBV) with only £2....
Had to stop...maybe have a slight gambling addiction, or maybe it was because 3 of those keyrings were Hello Kitty :/ hehe

May make them into jewellery, because you know, I don't have enough hellokitty paraphernalia for my body!

I'M a fucking princess.

I had my Prom last moth, at Leeds Castle. I wanted to go but didn't want to buy into the whole, arrive in limo, buy generic dress from House of Fraser, wait /beg some boy to take me, have my nails and hair done so I look nothing like what i usually do shit.

So yeh, found some awesome material in a shop in Brighton and made myself a dress fro £20, wore my white Dr. Martens (not like I'm gonna wear heels just because everyone else was) and made myself a new tutu out of an ikea net curtain. PLAN.

I had no date but went with friends and even made my own corsage out of a £3 bunch of roses I bought at lunch time :)

Castle :) With my Buddy Bethany :)

Made the dress myself, from no pattern, just went with a one shouldered circle skirt, few pleat in the front and a HUUUGE bow on the back :) It had double interfacing and net inside to keep it so stiff but I did feel like a Disney character :) RESULT.
Even bought lace gloves form the fancy dress shop to complete the look :) It was a lovely night but it was difficult to go to the loo with three net skirts on haha!!!

ELLO I AM CALLING FROM YOUR BUILDING SOCIETY...

Hey guys!!! what a shock, just came back online now that I have a new camera and a new lease of inspiration for blogging to update you all on my current antics and outfits and was totally SURPRISED but so PLEASED to see how active my blog has been whilst I've been away!!!

HELLO (don't be frightened at the capitals, just cant help bring overexcited) to all my new followers!! Welcome and I hope you have enjoyed digging through my archive :) And of course heeeeeeeeeeeeey *cringy smile and thumbs up* to all my regs, LOVE YA!

Well, let me calm down (hahahaa best joke of the year) and I can tell you about where this usually socially reclusive girl has been this last weeks.

Finished the scenery off at my mum's school, lived in paint (quite literally lived, I walked in it and had permanent orange feet for two days) for a week or so whilst rollering metres of Egyptian sandscape.

Been enjoying my time off with trips to see my friends bands play in local pubs, (fangirl style: standing at the front and miming to their acoustic sets :p)
Also been out clubbing a few times, yet I have realised I only enjoy the really chavvy clubs. For the simple reason that the others are so 'cool' and trying sooooo hard to that I don't know any of the music and thus don't enjoy myself.
Instead I enjoyed myself at the local Chav Hall at a themed Rodeo night where the music consisted of 'Cotten Eye Joe' (DONT deny that you wanna do that dance where you link arms and spin around pretending to be cowboy!)

Oh and a complimentary picture of me being thrown off the bucking bronco....

I was dressed up, OBVIOUSLY but had to take my white DM's off to go on it :( so you cant see my full costume ( I HAD A GUN )

I also dressed up (you can start to see the similarities to my 'relaxing' time) for my art buddy Rennigans Birthday party which was Hawaiian themed :)

I apologise for the silly size pictures and no real outfit photo, my camera had broken so I thought I'd be sneaky and steal some from facebook haha!

Apart from that it's not been amazing weather, I think we had summer in about 2 days haha then its just been raining and cloudy so I'm just getting on with some artiness at home :)

AHhhh prom photos in next post PROMISE!! :)
