I can't spell leprechaun

Long time no blog! I have been majorly busy, with just too much work so that I have to decide what will get done and what wont. It's gonna be like this for the next week but  I am going to try to post just as much; I should allow myself one simple pleasure!

HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY!!
I realised I had NO green clothes, apart from combats which were in the wash so I went to my favourite high street shop....Poundland of course!
I was hoping they would have hold ups like they did for valentines but they didn't so I bought this clover tie, and wore it as a belt! It has clovers all over it and one four leaf clover.....lucky!

Dress- Charity shop
Socks- Primark
Shoes- Dr martens
Tie/belt- Primark

I apologise for the shit everything about this photo, but I had literally 1 minute to take it and was in a AHHH I HAVE SO MUCH TO DO mood.
Well I'm looking forward to comic relief night tomorrow, gonna stay in and have an indian to watch it, as there's a DR WHO SPECIAL! woooop!
Already bought my t-shirt, red nose and have been eating the Jimmy Con Carne crisps (which are my new favourite flavour!) everyday since they were out...I'm serious.

Top= H&M
Tights= H&M
Socks- Poundland these ones :)
Cardi- Primark
Loafers- Primark
Broach- old
Bow- Peacocks from this set :)

Woooahh my hair needs a bleach and a cut...roots much.
Very risky wearing white tights to the studio but I actually DIDN'T get anything on them....achievement of the day! BTW this was last Monday, just a bit of a delay posting.

Had to wear some of my new find, I love how they brighten up old pieces you have got sick of wearing.

Felt really ice-skatery in this outfit and may of danced allot around the studio until I nearly cracked my nut tripping over an easel... clever.

I am hoping on many more outfit posts this week, now that my interview is over!
It went really well, the most stressful 4hours of my life waiting for it, and worrying I didn't have enough to show so I took EVERYTHING at the last minute. Yeh, the interviewer asked if I had come in a truck.
But I am exceedingly happy now as I got offered a place, there and then, 15mins into the interview, apparently they have got over 500 applicants and only 150 places so I'm well excited now!!

Of course I celebrated in true party animal style...

Takeaway Chinese, double bill corrie, bath and bed...SO HARDCORE!!!

And if your wondering what i ordered for my Chinese (I always find it interesting how everyone has different regular things they get) I had, Duck with pancakes, Sweet and Sour prawn balls, Egg fried Rice, Nooodles, crispy seaweed, Ginger and spring onion chicken and crispy chicken ..oh and prawn crackers!

Boots- Internacionalle £12 on sale

Bag- Peacocks £5 on sale

Of course I shopped in all the expensive shops as per. Even got my butler to carry the bags and talk to the shop assistants because I don't dare mingle with the common folk.

LOL JOKES I shop in Poundland.

Couldn't believe my luck when I found those glittery socks in Poundland, so of course bought them in every colour, treated myself to some new very expensive brushes lol £1.

I don't bother with expensive art equipment even though its all I do every day because quite frankly I have never been able to tell the difference between something painted in a set of £1 brushes and something painted in a £19.99 brush made from the Queen's personal hog hair farm.  Maybe that's just me being a Cheapskate, i prefer to have new ones every week that are cheap because I ruin them so quickly.

You gotta love Poundland though, we have two in our town and a 99p Store, always buy a basketful and loads of toiletries/food ...OK practically everything in there.

The bargains from Miss selfridges were to good to miss, to get two things for under £20 is an actual  miracle in there, especially such good pieces, and VELVET!

Looking forward to wearing that dress sooon!

Week in 10 #1

I've decided to start a regular feature of my week in 10, probs because I don't seem to have the time to get everything I feel like sharing down in the week, it's not gonna be extensive just 10 short snipits of thing I've been up to this week, hopefully with some photos (fingers crossed!)

Ok, this week has been spent....

1. Wearing Shoes - really been into shoe-socks combo this week as you can see from here and here
    2. Drinking Hot chocolate mmmmm- especially when drunk out of my new DrWho mug with marshmallows, cream and biscuits homemade by one of my buddies <3

Oh and yes that is my DrWho table top calender in the background

I Had two choc orange ones and they were gorgeous :)
3.  Sitting on my desk embroidering the Pope's face onto plastic sheeting - basically what my art project went into this week..haha but very therapeutic

4. Tweeting- I have twitter!!! just got it yesterday and set up mobile tweeeets so I can post even when I'm out and about, check it out!

5. Sitting at desks- whether mine in my room looking out on my road, or my one at my art studio (which I have mainly been sitting on -see 3) just working and organising and BLOGGING!

6. Listening to my ipod- with the walk in the morning back into my life I have selected my fav playlists, THE WHOLE SWEENY TODD MUSICAL (original cast of course) all that talk of killing and cutting people up into pies really gets me going for the day you know?

7. Eating chocs- had too many left over for Christmas so of course me and my art dudes were happy to dispose of them ( one box of chocolate eclairs, one box of Thornton's, and maybe all the pink ones from the Roses tin by myself :))

8. Watching my Les Mis 25th Anniversary at the 02 DVD- whilst ironing then with hot choc, SO GOOOD, if you like the musical or book then check it out <3

9. Watching TV- there are finally good things on eg. Primeval season 4 on Saturday night and I've just seen the start to the new series of Larkrise to Candleford which started tonight <3 I love a bit of dinosaurs and period drama...hmmm maybe be should have a period drama with dinos, if you threw DrWho in there and some class songs it would be so immense my brain would implode, and all the imploding energy would grow, create a black hole and suck you into it...so, its up to you.

10. Reading- I finished my book , Scarlett Thomas' My Tragic Universe, very different to what  I usually read but very thought provoking a lovely ending.

I hope next week contains as many nice things!

I've regressed ...

Yes, on Saturday I wore this outfit, I was only staying in and doing some art videos and sewing but I found myself dressing how I used to when I was 13...hehe I DON'T WANNA GROW UP :(

I apologise for the dark photos, after spending a whole day outside filming of course JUST WHEN i decide to use it to my advantage and take some pics; it decides to get dark....how dare it!
I have seriously been feeling the tights and socks vibe recently..maybe because I got so many cute socks for Christmas! (especially when teamed with loafers and a stripy pinafore)

Top Primark
Dress Had it so long I cant remember.... I wasn't joking when I said this was what I wore when I was 13!
Tights old
Socks Peacocks
Belt came with top
Broach Flea market Brighton
Earrings Pilot
Hair clips Peacocks

NYE

Tonight I am going out to a Pantomime (Jack in the Beanstalk) in a local town with all the family, we do it every year and its pretty cool on NYE as it's their last performance so they are all really cheery and funny, also I just generally love going to the theatre for any reason (even if it is just a little local theatre like this one)...
Talking of theatres i may just have 3 trips booked up for next year...just maybe :) :D
first of all for my dad's birthday we are going to see Frankenstein at the National Olivier in London.
not only is it produced and directed by none other that DANNY BOYLE (yes slumdog millionaire, 28 days later etc.) but it stars Jonny Lee Miller and ...
wait for it.....
wait for it....
wait for it...
seriously it's worth it.......

BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH!!!!!!

yes, I know I will be in the SAME ROOM as the brilliant actor which anyone who has watched Sherlock will know, and LOVE <3
I had been talking about it for aaaagees, we were waiting for the tickets to be released as we love the actors, the storyline and my bro is a VERY BIG Danny Boyle fan, and after not much deliberation managed to book tickets  AT THE FRONT! woop!

My second theatre trip already booked is to see Lover Never Dies at the Adelphi Theatre, follow up to Phantom Of the Opera which is just my favourite show EVER, and do know all the words and listen to the whole show on my ipod most mornings when walking to school <3
Just a bit of a Phantom geek ...

(and btw I wish I was Christine but I sooooo would of chosen Phantom, with his candlelit, golden dungeon, so much more exciting!)

I already have the Love Never Dies soundtrack and SURPRISE SURPRISE already know all the songs /words so I just can't wait for that! And it's for my Grandma's Birthday which means all the family are coming, and I love going to the Theatre with my Grandma as she shares my passion for scenery, costume and all things magical <3

The last show I am booked to see is slightly different, but all you comic book fans out there will be jealous, as I am going to see...
dananananananananananananananaanananana
BATMAAAAAN!

Its the Batman LIVE tour that is Starting across Britain and we're seeing it for my Bro (seriously mad comic book, marvel and Batman fan) 's birthday at the 02 Arena in London...
Not only that but my mum, being my mum, didn't want to sit up high above it all so booked priority seats INSIDE THE REVOLVING GOTHAM CITY, yes i am sitting in GOTHAM CITY and its gonna REVOLVE!!!

Haha anyway, I'm just tooo excited for next year and those marvelous things but have just realised none of that is wardrobe/clothing related so...
bonus picture of these cool sockies I got for Christmas, they are REINDEERS! and so fluffy but make my toes look like monkeys and the bells made my dad think we had a cat in the house,,,, oh I wish <3

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Brave It Fur!

Today I started to feel the creeping sense of cabin fever after spending nearly a whole week in the house and I was worried that I just may get so crazy that I would take a spoon to some helpless family members brains, so....
I donned my new fur coat which my mother bought for me for christmas and took to the christmas sales!
Coat M&S
Dress Primark
Socks Primark
Boots Dr.Martens

Paired with a little black tiered dress, new woolen socks and my black DM's I was warm and practical enough to brave the foggy air.
My 'christmas streak' in my fringe is now a bit of a faded red and tommorow it will be gone as I think it has faded enough for me to dare to bleach it back (fingers crossed!)

Allthough it was mad out and I tried to resist BUYING CLOTHES there was just a few bargains I could not resist!

A new pair of shoes and a georgous blouse may of seen their way into my hands but I do not know how they got their and it CERTAINLY wasnt my fault.

Well anyway there will be pics of them soon!
