Mutant.

I went to see Xmen last night <3 Amazing of course and this is what I wore...

T-shirt - Present from my bro, I cut the sleeves and neckline
Skirt- Zara
Tights- fancy dress
Meon knee Highs- Poundland
Shoes- TUK
Extensions- Poundland
(fell IN LOVE with these extensions, cant wait for my mane to actually grow this long, Aiming for my hair to look like My Little Pony <--- I think that is a worthwhile aspiration in life!

OOOh my mama has bought me some great nail art tattoos and gems and shizzle from poundland, so gonna have many fun days with that! AAAAnd she got me these cool tattoo pens that stay on all day and are like glitter gel pens ( I have one on my arm here if you can see, being ALLOWED to draw on yourself is too much fun!!!)

Lately I have really been channeling either the 90's bright gothy look or the princess japanese vibe, they just seem to be the most fun to wear and feel so me atm. I'm not really into all the things that are 'in' this summer, dont get me wrong, they are nice, but not really me. I think its more important and fun to have your own style and take bits of inspiration from everywhere not just limiting yourself.
One of my biggest inspirations are YOU GUYS  that's right I am talking to you!
I've been blogging for only 6 months but have been so welcomed by other bloggers and followers and clicking on the 'comments' tab is the first thing I do on the Internet, I LOVE COMMENTS! so keep it up guys and thanks to all the friends I've made :)

Love you guys!!!! xxx

Precisely ....Precisely

Yesterday I decided to embroider some of my favourite feminist quotes, it was very therapeutic until I got to 'precisely'. which, I do not know why I decided to embroider TWICE.

IN THE WRONG PLACE.

Was obviously so relaxing that I forgot how to use my noggin. Well, it only took me half an hour to realise this and then unpick it all.

But I have cheered myself up with some nice outfit photos today, would of liked to do them outside but its still pissing it down AS PER USUAL. Well, that's what you get for living in England.

Tee Primark
Dress New Look
Tights :/ OLD
Shoes some cheap shoe shop
Beads Vintage
Belt Vintage
Flower Gift

Apart from that my weeks been pretty good, a little scarce on outfit photos due to the fact I spent a few days in just paint covered leggings and shirts.... Getting some emulsion on to boards to start my first paintings of the year!

I love this outfit, its abit of everything, and although I love to dress in a theme this  really cheered me up. I love stripes especially tights and love the looks people give me because they know there not fashionable and not many girls wear dresses this length at my age... well not where I live. It's just plain jersey but a simple design is really nice to jazz up, i think its supposed to me a maxi dress but  my tallness combats this a makes it a midi ( there 'in' right?)

Also loving these shoes, bargain satin red sneakers which I have mostly been wearing all of this week, its nice to have a change from DM's and still be comfy.

And flowers in my hair always make me happy, especially these satin red ones I got from my buddy for Christmas...Instant spanishishnessss <3

Incase you were wondering what quote I was embroidering it was this one by Rebecca West...

I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is:
I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that
differentiate me from a doormat.

genius.

Hello, I am C-3PO, human cyborg relations. How might I serve you?

Medusa here, reporting for her first day at space camp.
Looking forward to learning quickly everything there is to learn about working on the space craft so that I may soon explore to the furthest limits of time and space.

hmm.... or just a Tuesday morning. LOL

Tee H&M
Skirt Primark
Tights Geroge at Asda
Jacket Bay Trading
Beads H&M
Boots Dr Martens
Earrings Pilot

If you've been following me on twitter then you would know I watched Episode 1 Phantom Menace of Star Wars at the weekend. And found myself wearing one of my ahem *many*  Star Wars tops.
I love this one as its quite long (allthough tucked in here) and isnt just a logo or pictures but the whole Tee, front and back, is like cosmic space with the iconic picture of Luke and Darthvader on the front, which always creates the same query...

'Is that Jesus?'
'No. How can you know about religion and not THE MOST recognisable Star Wars character. Sort your life out.' is my response.

I  also painted my nails, attempting to paint all the planets = FAIL. so I took it off and painted them a metallic purple with sliver glitter at the tips, very cosmic.

The photo FOR ONCE actually shows the awesomeness of these lurex glitter tights, which were a bargain 75p.

Finishing off with a crisp white jacket, very futuristic, mirrored broach, purple glass beads and purple planet earring I was all ready to sign up to fight the Federation.... If there was a sign up centre near my house....or if it wasnt fictional.

Note to self, Art Studio stairs pics= AWWWKWWARD!

You can't stop change any more than you can stop the suns from setting.

'Are you advertising a sussex town on your Tshirt?'

Hope everyone has survived the week back after the holidays, apparently this weekend is one of the most depressing of the year, but it only will be if you let it! I am definitely not letting it; seeing as i now have 2 FOLLOWERS WOOOP :) Helllooo!

Feels Pretty good to know some people are checking this out and I'm not just babbling on to myself.

Anyway I've come in from doing some art videos along my road whilst the battery's for the camera recharge, so I can update you on some outfits <3
After checking out Fashion Pirates latest post on her amazing new shoes it inspired my outfit for the next day, (although I did not realise at the time) I decided to put on my Beetle Crushers, which ARE NOT DM's.

Now as you'll get to know a day which I don't wear DM's is a day to mark on the calender just because I always feel they go better with my outfit/and are comfy/and i can walk fast/and run rather than 'shoes'.

My beetle crushers are plain black suede, made by TUK, and have an awesome platform on them, when i wear them i really want to show them off so i teamed them with ...

A new Tee my mum bought me for Christmas, it says 'theres no place like Brighton' with the Dorothy slippers above!

Its Very big ad comfy so I can wear it in my normal way of rolled up sleeves and pendants.

It pretty much sums up my feeling of Brighton, I love it there, I go frequently as its not too far for a days shopping round all the vintage stores and lanes as well as pretty little health food shops <3

I have also been staying there for the Halloween weekend for the last two years as I take part in the Beach of The Dead (Brighton Zombie walk) if there was anywhere I was to move to it would be Brighton.

I also wore a red studded miniskirt and sheer (they said tattoo but there more of a lace/floral) Patterned tights.

Oh and of course some chunky knit socks and Bambi necklace!

As a leaving gift you can have a picture of the coat I've been wearing out this week..
I call it my 'victorian coat' as it make me feel like a spoilt little posh girl haha I wish!

Pack up the baubles in your old kit bag..

I know that's not how the song goes but packing up all the Christmas decs this weekend makes it feel like a fresh start with organisation, and makes my house look sooo weird and empty.
I don't really do New Years resolutions but going back to working after weeks off does get me motivated....and so do the approaching deadlines ARRGH!
I'm a pretty organised person as it is but i need to spend less time faffing around and get ON!!
My lack of posts over the next few days have been due to this 'getting on' and I have done surprisingly well at trying to get everything sorted before i get back on with work!

After spending my New Years Eve at the pantomime which was truly hilarious with snow machine and marvelous dame costumes, I concluded it in bed watching Blackadder Christmas special and the memorable Father Ted episode when he tries to explain the difference between a little cow and one that is far away (never gets old!)
here are some (awful, sorry for the bad quality!) photos of my outfit for NYE....

 Jacket H&M
Tank Top Internacionale
Dress new Look
Leggings Jane Norman
Earrings Pilot
Broach Brighton vintage

I was feeling kinda gothy, but in a good way, sometimes I just love layering up all different textures like this fishnet dress, metallic tank and wet look leggings.

It also gives me a chance to use my lovely purple and black eye dust by Barry M which is so rich and a lovely colour, but does take careful application so you don't end up looking a mess!

This jacket was a Christmas present but I had previously seen it and fallen in love <3
the tribal print is in my favourite colour combo and printed on velvet, teamed with my cobra broach....what more could I want! hmmmm maybe some leopard skin...see next post!
